Mission Aquaculture
We at MAAARC have been serving aquaculture farmers since 2015. We planned to empower farmers with the world-class best aquaculture practices. Watching the country turn towards Blue Revolution, we at Matrix took a call to establish the concept of Knowledge Hub back in 2015. In 2015, Matrix partnered with Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and establish MAAARC. In 2016 Matrix ANU Advanced Aquaculture Research Centre (MAAARC) started the 1-year PG Diploma Certification course in Aquaculture studies, training technicians.
In 2017, we launched the prestigious Aquaculture monthly “Aquaculture Times,” a magazine that makes global knowledge available to a local farmer. [ Available in English & Telugu ]. In 2018, we launched Mobile Aqua labs, allowing farmers to get their water and field samples tested at the farm itself. In 2020, we launched Royye Raju free emergency Toll-Free number connecting farmers directly with aqua experts. Over 10000 local and cross-country farmer-scientist think tank sessions have been organized in the past ten years, allowing effective knowledge-sharing mechanisms.
